What other trannys fit the k20z3??

 

For what purpose and why would you want another transmission?

 

i can think of atleast 2 reason's
2nd and 3rd gear would be mine

or the fact that honda wont admit there are many issue's with the tranny and fix the issues with out making you jump threw hoops

 

anything below 05 i think wont fit because of the different tranny housings.

 

Then you don't know a whole lot about K series transmissions because the cases from other/older K series transmissions aren't a direct plug and play set up and even then the gears aren't trouble free in other/older K series transmissions.

Your only option, if you can't get warranty work is going with aftermarket gear sets or replacing with OEM units. Both VERY expensive. There is no cheap fix when it comes to transmission work.

 

My vote is to replace internals.

x2 on other k trannys have issues; the rsx-s is well known for having problems with 2nd and 3rd gear, just like our trannys are. aren't all the k20 trannys interchangeable though? other than the vss being different throughout the years.

mods can change it, i've seen it happen before too.

 

in the user cp section i did that like 4 years ago so i dont honestly remember step by step

 

they don't let you do it yourself anymore; they used to, until the scammers started abusing the feature.

 

like i said i did it a while ago and i dont really post a whole lot on this site as you can tell by how long ive been a member and how few posts i have
