Default LS-VTEC

Does anyone know base hp output of a "Stock" LS-Vtec

I know b18b1 is 140 hp @ 6300 rpms, but know idea and went thru 2 pages of search criteria and nothing useful.

theres no such thing as a stock LS/Vtec

Its all depends on how you put the car together... Dont expect more than 160whp unless you got type r pistons and the whole she-bang in there...

You know what i ment. Like, stock b16 head, with stock b18 bottom... Thats stock enough for me.

So your saying 20 hp for adding vtec?

thats your hole setup? bolt ons? tune?
did you at least put rod bolts and head studs in??

Lol, no no. its not built or even in the car for that matter. i got ahold of a good cheap Ls motor and tranny, was just curious the output it'd be if i vtec'd it over keeping it stock ls

oh ok, you should have said that,
we cannot guess power outputs intell we know the whole entire setup, even then its just a guess, could be high/low,

For that little gain, i'll probbly stick to the boosted ls. instead of boosting a ls-vtec
