Wow, that was hard to read. Did you do the stereo install? How long after the install did the trouble occur? I doubt if it's a short, probably some spliced wires that are crossed up.

I Installed The Stereo.. But It Was Working Fine For Like 4 Months.. But When I Connected The Rear Stock Speaker The Lights Went Out.. I Checked Wires And They Dont Look Spliced Or Melted. Also The Stereo Always Stays On, I Always Have To Turn It Off From The Faceplate (POWER BUTTON)..

I refer to 94 accrod and hope 96 uses the same wire colors because they the same generation.
1. The stereo can not be off problem: with ignition switch off and test WHT/RED wire on stereo. It should not have power. If the WHT/RED remains battery voltage with ignition switch off, the cigarette ligher relay is bad and you need to change it.
2. Dash light on only when connecting YEL (hot? should be WHT/YEL?) and RED/BLK: check fuse #32(15A) and #15 in the under-hood fuse/relay box.

LOL...I had a stereo shop to install my system in my previous 2003 accord. Always be sure to MAKE SURE that they do not have wires dangling. I even asked why those wires were there and they said that they werent anything and I did not need them. One day I crank my car and it automatically shuts off and smoke starts to fill the inside and a burning smell is prominent. Ends up that one of those wires was LIVE and not grounded and touched with another...had my car not shut off...it would have burned to the ground. I had melted wires ALL THE WAY back to the trunk. I was mad! It ended up costing me ALOT of money to fix.
