Headlights Off = Rear Lights On? Why?
I woke up this morning only to find out that my car won't start. Charged the battery and it fired right up. As I walked around my car, I noticed that the rear lights were on. However, the headlights were OFF. I'm sure this is why my car didn't start. How is this possible? I then began to pull out the rear bulbs to inspect if any of them were burnt. All bulbs checked out OK.
What else should I check? I checked all the fuses as well. The headlights work fine. Any ideas? Thanks.

its your brake switch at the top of your break pedal
everyone gets this at one point in time.
eighter you get a new one

put a peice of cardboard and tape it between the switch and the pedal it self

This happened to me last year. I went to the dealership and they said it would be $180. Then another guy said 'o its just the switch on your pedal'
I was under the dash for 20 minutes. The bolt just came loose. My easiest fix ever!

grab a 10mm bolt and nut and pop them in the hole where the original stopper used to be. 20 yr old brittle plastic ftl
i just had this happen. dont stress it but check your brake arm out. if there is blue stuff on the ground the little stopper fell out. easy fix. i super glued a penny and its worked since
