vtec doesnt engage
So I just bought a 95 si from a guy who swapped in a jdm b16a motor.
However, we can't figure out how to get the vtec to work. The car has an idle bounce for a bit until it warms up. It drives and shifts fine. There is a little squeally sound that u can hear for a second or two in each gear as u accelerate. I just changed the VSS and it isn't overheating.
Any ideas? It is throwing a CEL code but that is probably because of the02 sensor being unplugged. I will get a readout of it to be sure tho.
