Hey whats going on? I'm new here. Just wondering if anyone has the Skunk2 Mega power exhaust and race header installed on their SI? I just ordered it should be recieving it in a few days along with the Hondata Flash Pro. Did i make a good choice or did i just waste my money? Im pretty excited first performance mods I'm doing since i bought my 07 four door SI bout 1 1/2 yr ago. I appreciate the input if any...
The skunk2 header is one of the better ones on the market that has a price that most can afford. So the header you got was a good choice. The exhaust you got is a very nice exhaust. Both header and exhaust produce good power gains. Downside is the noise. The car will have a great sound nice deep tone youll just be heard nomatter where you are. The 70mm is probably the loudest exhasut you can get and with the header it will be even louder.
The hondata flashpro is IMO and most would agree the better of the two choices we have to tuning. All three of your choices are good ones as long as you dont mind a loud exhuast. Get the car tuned and youll be greatly satisfied with the power gains you pick up. Also if you dont have one yet look into getting a intake. It will help complete your boltons and make the most out of your FA5.

sweet deal man. get it dynoed and tuned and post up some vids/pics after everything is done. Would like to see what you put down.
Also, buy earmuffs hehe. I don't mind the note of the Skunk2 70mm exhaust, but it's loud... For some that's a plus, for me not so much...let us know how it turns out!

Wow is it really that loud? Somebody told me to get a resignator for it, to cut some of the noise down, you think it'll work? Ya got me second guessing my purchase lol i dont want too much attention let me know thanks.
Well go to youtube and search for vids of it and youll see. ALso it is really loud and if you want a quieter then get something else. I think that a resinator will help but i really thught they helped with rasp which you will have none of. But hey get it and put it on and see if its too loud. If so do what you can to make it quieter. You got the big piping for extra performance but you also opted for the louder one.

true i guess we'll see what happens. i went on youtubube and heard it, it does sound loud, but didnt sound too bad. ima wait and hear it in person. if i dont like i'll take it off and sell it and get something else. but really bro i appreciate the input and ill definately let you know how it turns out, and ill post the dyno when i get it done so you could check it out take care.
Np problem man. I think the car is gonna make some good *** power. I have the Greddy Evo2. I put down some good gains with mine and it does sound really good. I recently took mine off to clean it up and put some protecter on it. Im running a dump pipe. Mine is pretty loud but do able. Ive heard the s2 in person and its loud but sounds great. The problem is with a header it makes it that much louder.
I hope everything works out for you and Im subscribed to the thread so that i can see your gains.
Good Luck
