Default LS Door bezel install...(Pics)

What an easy install and cheap too...

Not that it really even needs pics, but here they are...

Remove the screw cover...

Zip tie the switch plug to the brace shown

Put in the RS door bezel

Then when you feel adventurous you can get one of these to control your locks...

[Edit] Spelling - sgT - yes I would... thanks!

probably not
the antenna needs constant power to stay up, so unless you feel like holding the
moonroof switch.....

HAHA I was wondering who was going to catch that. Yeah I was on my way to work thinkin' "hell, I should take a b4 shot of the switch and all", and I just so happened to have the camera ready in the Civic...good eye!

[edit] i was actually on the E-way when I was passing someone on the right hand side...

If you want your antenna to go down, just get any aftermarket CD deck and it will only raise the antenna when you are listening to the radio...unline the stock Type R CD player that has it up any time that the radio is turned on.

My aftermarket stereo raises the antenna even when CDs are playing. One of these days I'll install a manual antenna switch.

What is the advantage of this swap? You already have a switch in the ideal location.

Do you know how easy it is to break into a car with an alarm? At a mall/movie theater, all you need is thirty seconds and a coathanger.

1. Use coat hanger to pry into window, and reach/unlook doors (with most alarms, this will not cause the alarm to go off). No need to break glass, and no prints.

2. Open door, quickly pop engine hatch, and disconnect battery = no alarm.

This is an easy way to prevent a 30 second break in. Also no door locks in view (in an easy place to reach) = a stupid thief that will likely wonder "What else has been done..."

now all i gotta do is find a away to prevent it from unlocking manually.....a theif who is familiar with tegs will know were the manual unlock tab is on the inside door handle...then if he really wants to steal my car, hes gonna have to jump in and out of it ~dukes of hazards style~
