how did you guys who run the CF hatch change out the glass? did you DIY, or had a pro do it? any tips on DIY?

 

if your talking about the glass on ek, probably the best way to do it, but also the slowest is to get a utility knife (olfa knife) take off all the trim off and start cutting away at the urethane that holds it in. i have a friend thats been installing windshields for over 3 years and he wont touch it with a pull knife or an air snipper (what the pros use) he also suggested using a knife and cut it out. take your time and have lots of spare blades, i've taken out windshields this way in the scrap yard for dirt cheap

PS i don't have a c/f hatch yet, just planning for the spring
