H22 transmission problem need help
I have 99 prelude type sh with a jdm type s motor and tranny. my problem is i cant get it into gears smoothly, sometimes i have to turn the car off to get it in gear at a full stop. when i push the clutch all the way down and have it in gear and try to start it sometimes the car still goes, any 1 with this problem and have any idea what this is??
If the clutch disc is shot, it would be at the least slipping. A worn clutch disc most likely won't cause issues getting into gear.
This problem definitely seems to be with the clutch not engaging/disengaging properly, which means its most likely the fault of the slave or master as previously stated.

If the fluid is just low it could just need a simple bleeding. A worn disk won't cause the issues the OP is experiencing. Chances are that the slave cylinder's going bad. Just pull the rubber boot back on the front of the transmission and see if it's got fluid in there.
