new pistons:) some questions
So im buything these pistons i forgot the name but its 9:1 compressions and there forged and heat coated performance pistons all around
i was just wondering will i c a gain over stock pistons? and what other benfits there will be
thanks love u all

nv, I thought you had the h23 .. f22a compression ratio is at 8.8 : 1 stock, so your 9.0 is slightly higher .. a little gain in power then, and no worry about FRM .. your block should have iron sleeves
to get the most out of those pistons would require you to tune and no longer pump using 87 fuel.

ok thanks much
my car is going to love me after i put those in considering its still the 17 year old stock ones.
thanks for your help and what you thinking like 10 hp maybe?

consider this .. you probably have some carbon build up on those stock pistons. That alone is enough to bump up your compression ratio to 9.0 on those stock pistons .. so, not much gain at all for you in the end.
well i guess i will still see a lil bit of gain wich is ok for me
as long as its some gain plus the guy that had the lude b4 me treated it like **** so itll be nice to put some performance internals in there.

If you are gonna be tearing into the motor anyways, why not go with a higher CR or do a complete rebuild? You say it was treated like **** so I would at least.
BTW, like Street_Ride14 said, you won't even notice the difference. Unless you are losing compression as it is. But compared to another stock f22, you won't notice.
