I have a 90 hb dx and was swapping a 90 hb cluster with tach in, once i tore the dash apart, and removed my cluster, I came to find there was a white box with a circut board in it clipped to the back which had a 2wire plug that clipped into it. Will i put the cluster in with the tach and none of the lights worked, assuming that there is a box that is missig that goes on the back. The box from my dx cluster would not fit as it has different clip locations. What do you guys do to make tach and lights work, or is it missing a piece thanks.

the cluster u have is either a 88-89 cluster or u are missing that piece.

 

i lookd at ur pic and it looks like that piece is just missing take the one off ur cluster without the tach( do it carefully to see where it connects to so u could do the same to ur other cluster without it) put the box on and see what happens

 

i tried that already and the box doesnt fit onto the clamps, its a different setup, anyway i hooked it up that way and still got no dash lights or rpms?
