Code 17 bad VSS, Speedo and Odo not working

Code 17 bad VSS, Speedo and Odo not working
Hey all,
My speedo and odometer quit working yesterday while driving to fill gas. When I got back home I got a CEL. The CEL is giving me code 17, a bad VSS. I checked the plugs for corrosion or a bad connection, it doesn't seem like there is any.
I have to drive back to school today. Will I have any issues driving ~300 miles with a bad VSS?
