Got rid of Ebay fogs because I needed OEM ones due to center console mounting issue. After spending 10 hours hooking up my new OEM clear foglights from handa-accessories for 04/05 civic, making sure I did everything to the "t", all 70 steps, turn the car on to discover nothing. Here's the problem. I know I wired everything right and grounded correctly. My center console OEM foglight switch backlight is on (when I turn on the headlights) but the main green? ON indicator light won't come on nor do the fog lights turn on. Could the problem be with the OEM foglight switch maybe being defective, a blown 10 amp fuse, bad relay, red/white wire in 16 pin connector behind steering wheel not touching properly? Again this was a brand new sealed kit made by Honda. I'm stumped. Any ideas? Has anyone else had this happen with the switch indicator light AND the foglights not coming on? Thanks, any help is appreciated, one more thing are OEM foglights for 04/05 civic only supposed to come on without headlights on or at the same time with the low beams? Thanks!

 

Not sure of your functionality problem, but yes, the OEM fogs will only come on with your low beams, unless you decide to start splicing wires.

 

Never mind, Finally figured out the problem. It was that darn red/white wire that goes into the 16 pin vehicle connector behind the steering wheel (at the top part of the column). I've always heard people having problems with that on here and I did too. I didn't have it pushed it the entire way. I unclipped the 16 pin retainer and pushed the wire in farther and bam the indicator light came on and the fogs worked with the low beams. whew
