93 Accord won't start
I have a 93 lx. I have checked the main relay and it's ok. I have checked the cam and timing marks, they're good. I have replaced the coil as well. It appears there isn't a spark coming from the coil. I tested the wire from coil to distributor & it's ok. Tested some of the wires inside distributor for voltage and they read 12 volts. Distributor is spinning while cranking. Any ideas?
It happen a few years ago on my car. The igniter fail inside the distributor. This seems to be the most common problem with the car. Mine fails at around 190K miles. I cost around $75-100.
I forgot but the check engine light show some code. You have to jump a jumper and check the code.

It's pretty much a process of elimination.
For us old farts out here, there's an easier test; grab the known good one out of the tool box's top drawer and install it..........
When this happens, there can be several causes:
Ignitor
Wiring / connectors
TDC Sensor
Coil.
I've listed them by rate of observable failure rate.
The ignitor is the culprit 90% of the time.
