IMPORT AUTOWORKS- BILLY BUILT< ERIK INSPIRED! :P
It all started in 2002 with my 00 Civic Si Flamenco Black Pearl
....Like everyone back then I made countless "mod" sheets, circled and marked hudreds of magazine pages from Honda Tunning to Super Street (<---yeah i know, we all did it),looking for that insperation to create something UNIQUE something worthy of those glorious pages...from High School to College to three years after college and still now I am not done...nor will I ever be. The bug bit and it bit hard...
Unavoidably, got tired of the small bolt ons that made no REAL power but got to know some shops/part stores along the way (Landspeedracing, Apex Motorsports, ImportPOwerHouse, SRD...) I soon came to reality and stopped (or so I made myself believe) daydreaming my builds and actually started building, putting the ideas together that were drawn over and over on paper. Then...the point of no retrun...THE COST OF FOLLOWING A DREAM WITHOUT REACH...here come the thousands upon thousands of dollars spent to create that ideal vehicle that you can go to at any point in time in your mind, the everchanging, evergrowing PERFECT BUILD in the limitless possiblities of your own imagination and wishfull thinking. I blame Grand Tourismo for putting on the screen MY DREAM GARAGE and further fueling the never ending journey of car builds LOL!
My first downfall happened in 07 on the dyno after three years of saving for my turbo build....While in college I saved what little I could (worked in construction throughout college) and sent my lil B16 that could to JGEngine Dynamics (dont regret anything nor will I ever...Javier is a great engine builder, has been for a long time and I will always vouch for my experiences with him) after three months of waiting I got my sleeved 84mm motor assembled with a ProSeries head put in by the ORIGINAL SRD Owners while LoS (carlos) was still there and got back on the road after a mild tune with a VAFC(NA).
Ran great for over 30k miles and i finally had my turbo kit ready to drop in thanks to KEN AT PEAKBOOST...Another awesome local dude that is always there to answer any questions and help out local racers. This time around i went with Tony over at UMS who put it all together and put it on the Dyno for Tim owner of XactDyno to tune it all with Hondata and do a pump/race gas tune! We made over 440whp on 20psi with the AC KIT from Peakboost! I WAS IN SHOCK! The thrill of boost and VTEC was ADDICTING!! I soon got used to walkn all over domestics and even exotics...I WANTED MORE!! So went back for a retune with a 650rated intercooler and got ready for some more boost....THEN BOOM! On the dyno and all my hopes and dreams were shattered....TWO YEARS LATER HERE IAM AGAIN:

we got one that looked just like it and the wastegate fell off on the interstate as he was in his way to tune the car, it was a bad day. I am not out calling names.
I have no worries...i ran the car for a long time daily driven with the exact same peakboost manifold and NEVER had a problem! PLUS i know that if anything were to go wrong with it Ken will back his product. I have NO DOUBT about that!
It has been a hard two years...hopefully i will get to enjoy my car soon.

We tried to start the car last friday and yesterday AND FAILED! LOL we need a good base map to try again.
I am just going to take it to Joe at LoCash and have him start it and tune it...he just has a hard schedule for me to work with.

To update everyone on where i am at..I have bad news!
We started the motor and the oil light cam on...we checked and drained everything and refilled....and still light is on!
This morning we will drop the pan check the oil pickup, clean it make sure the gasket is there and maybe even replace the oil pump (brand new type r)...after that we are going to be talking to ERL and see what could have caused this.
Thanks will keep everyone updated
