change out c27a for c32avtech for 97 accord
I have never seen that swap done in the CD chassis. Seeing as it's from the bigger TL car I would wager no, BUT your car's front is approximately 3" larger than the 4 cyl versions so it may fit. But I would definitely say you'd need more than minor mods for it to work properly
The 2.7 was enough of exercise stuffing ^%$# into an undersized bag; I believe the 3.2 will be even more so.
I'd suggest the judicious use of a tape measure before you plink down your $$$

Why?
The 2.7 / Accord was a proof of concept engineering effort to determine the viability of a 1st V6 Accord. The V6 version was actually a specifically modified L4 chassis to accommodate the larger V6. (thus the unique front structure differences).
Honda departed from this concept to design following generations with ALL engine compartments designed with the capacity to fit V6 installations.
Unlike the Non-Vtec, Iron Block, hydraulic lifter 2.7V6, the following 3.0 and 3.2 V6 were Vtec, Aluminum Block and Mechanical lifter.
Although heavier, the 2.7 was actually smaller.
And the real kicker to all this? There isn't a dirth of performance equipment available yet for the 3.0 / 3.2 V6 family yet. The news is even more dire for the 2.7. It's like the 2.7 is the red-headed step child of the Honda product line.
If you've a cherry '97 V6 Accord, keep it. They aren't too common.
if you're really bent on a V6, consider a 6th gen. You'll avoid all the sheet metal issues.

are you saying the 6th generation v6 will work my in my 97? I read the c27a had 6 bolt mains and there was a v6 with titainium rods? sounds like I should just keep it stock unless you are sayiny the 6th generation v6 will work in my 97 5th generation

I think what he means is, if you want the bigger, more powerful v6 get a 6th gen v6 accord (whole car) with the motor already in it.

I believe you might be able to get away with it.
I mean they have C32 swap kits available for DC/EG/EKs from Hasport.
Contact Hasport direct and ask if they will ever make a V6 swap kit for the accord.
I wouldn't mind a CL-S 6 Speed swap in my coupe.
280HP on tap STOCK.... WOW!!!

So much mis info
C-series engines = SOHC or DOHC VTEC V6s. SOHC = 1st & 2nd gen Legends, CD Accord V6 & first gen RL & TL. DOHC VTEC = NSX. SOHC & DOHC VTEC C's are TOTALLY unrelated to each other. NOTHING changes over.
J-series engines = SOHC VTEC V6s. Pretty much all the V6s from 98 on outside of the 1st gen RL. 98+ Accord V6, CL, TL, Odyssey.
BETTER BET?
Get the C32A Type-II motor from a 93-95 Legend GS. 230HP vs the 170 in your C27, cheap ($1000 from a JDM shop), and I'm pretty sure they swap over. Do some research at an Acura Legend forum.

i wonder what tranny will fit on that motor, the legend tranny is like that of a rwd car, it goes into the firewall, like an s2000 tranny, so what tranny would you use, plus fot that money i would just spend a bit more and go for the k24, i-vtec is pretty nice with a k-pro, i know i got smoked badly by one
