91 Accord Gas Gauge and Cluster Question
Well I purchased the car and the gauge didn`t work. Its stuck at a little over half a tank. Not sure what it could be. I read it maybe the sending unit but is there a way to check? Also if it is the gauge thats bad wouldn`t the needle to rest on empty? But if it is the gauge I have a buddy that will sell me a cluster from an EX. The Accord I won is an LX would the EX cluster fit no problem? Thanks guys almost have this road ready.

disconnect it. The gas gauge meter should go past full.
If you ground that wire, the gas gauge meter should indicate past empty.
If the gauge responds to this, then that would indicate the problem lies in the tank area. Either with the sender unit, or the local harness has a bad ground.
