Default b16a

I have a crx with a 1st gen b16a. Do any of you guys know if the newer style lma's (lost motion assembilies) the spring type to be exact, will work in my first gen b16a. I'm planning on ordering them for a 00 civic si but need to know for sure if they are going to work.

As far as I knew, the spring type LMAs came out of H22s? Works with shimming.

Yeah its the cheaper alternative its like $8.00 for the h22 ones and like $22.00 for the b16 ones. But honda made spring type lma's already shimmed from the factory for the b16, but they are for the newer style b16's. That's why I'm not sure if they will work in my 1st gen b16

They will work just fine. If you are in doubt then just measure them when you get them (against the old ones) to see if they need shimming. The only difference between the later version and the earlier versions (on the B16s) is slightly the spring pressure and pad size.
