Here is a picture of my injen intake. The pic is kind of fuzzy but it will show you how it is supposed to look. The little sensor you are asking about goes right into the intake. You can see the sensor that you are talking about at the bottom of the pic. Hope this helps. If you need a step by step instuction let me know. Good Luck.

The rubber part goes completely flush. It should not stick out, push the rubber part and the sensor all the way in. As for the dampers which one's are you talking about?

I will take pictures of my intake today when I get home, but this time I will take pictures of the entire thing up close so it will make it more clearly for you. And no problem bro, I'm always willing to help a fellow member out
And yes, the rubber part goes flush with the intake. It goes all the way in,or as you say "nipple" with the intake. If you need something else just let me know.
Good Luck.

Here are some clearer pictures of the intake. And also I do not have the heat sheild anymore, it broke like 3 weeks after I had it. It sucks but oh well. hehe.. but I have circled in yellow once again. Hope this helps.

And here is a closer shot of the sensor and how it is supposed to look.

And here is a pic of my motor with out the injen heat shield...

Hope this helps bro. If you need help on other installs or anything else just hit me up. Good Luck.

You have to use the stock ones that come off your stock intake. Injen could have added them in the package but they got lazy, oh well. Just use the stocks, they fit fine..

Shud UP!!! Go clean your *** homo. heheh.. opps.. sorry Its friday and I'm all wired from the week. ehhe..

I will eventually clean it, but I will wait till th dealership installs the new motor mount, because if I clean it now those bastards will just dirty it once again.. So I will wait and clean it when they are done.
