Skunk Mega Power Header?
Has anyone ever seen any dynographs with these headers on a stock or mildly built 1.8. I kno skunk has a great reputation with the quality of their products but i haven't seen much people running this header assuming because its more expensive than the replicas. Anyone one who has experience or knowledge of this header is welcome to chime in. Thanks

Like the vendor for bisimoto said, there are much better headers out there for the price of a skunk2.
Look into other things like your engine mods and research a header that would suit your needs. If you have a camshaft that offers more mid-range you'd want to go with a header that offers more midrange. If you were running aggresive camshafts you'd want a header that offers good mid-top /peak power.
Look into it.
SMSP
RMF
Bisi
Hy-Tech
If you want to go a cheap alternative route SMSP knock off or a hy-tech knock off is ok for the price.

The header has been dyno tested. to provide results the same as the hytech 4-2-1 setups.. its a good header.. Donf i believe has done some testing on them.. good results.

I would like to know where you can get a custom header for the same price as a skunk2? I'm hopping to get my engine up a running soon so I can post some graphs of the skunk2 header on a 1.8 although I dont anything to compare it to right now.
I thought Skunk2 was about $600 my SMSP was $1200.
Here is some data I put together about the power Tri-Y headers can make.

A quick google search i just did shows the Mega Power header for $799. I asked justin@bisimoto and he said that they are currently offering the V2 B-series header for $799 with free shipping in the 48 states
Bisimoto Headers are designed with maximum ground clearance in mind. The design of the V2 header puts the collector in front of the oil pan,not under, allowing only the "downpipe" to go under the motor. This allows for maximum ground clearence.
Thanks for the props
we really appreciate it

Can't go wrong with any product from Bisimoto.

You're so tacky with your posts. Must you thread jack everyone? The title of the thread is "Skunk2 Mega Power Header", nowhere in there does it say Bisimoto. Not to mention, your post was the second one and had no valuable information regarding a Skunk2 header. I'm bamboozled as to how the mods don't get on you for thread jacking and constantly trying to solicit business. What's next with your guerrilla marketing scheme? Pointing pistols to peoples heads and making them buy your product?
You are incredibly rude.
And no you dont need to advertise when you already have a customer base which gets them business through referrals and general word of mouth.
If I whoop your butt at IFO and other see that...they will come up to my car and snoop around to ask me questions....I may tell them I have a bisimoto or endyn or fullrace product..Then they my go home and look up the product to buy for themselves. I dont think that is advertising.
Well HT is owned by Internet Brands so this whole place wouldnt exist if it not be for the purpose of marketing in the greater scheme of things, however their are guidelines to what the sponsers are allowed to do in non-marketplace forums according to what I've heard GK mention, so its up to a mods discretion I guess.
I mean no its not a direct advertisement (more like a targeted brochure ad imo) but then again having practically all GM vehicles in the Transformer films wasn't a direct advertisement either, however I'm sure it acted as one passive persuasive measure for their marketing strategies.

Nontheless, my sincere apologies to those offended by the comments in this thread by my associate, Justin. Justin means well, and is very dedicated, and enthusiastic. He is constantly amazed by the level of science that goes into Bisimoto products, and is very proud of the accomplishments of power and reliability here at Bisimoto Engineering.
My staff, and I, have discussed this, and rest assured, the aforementioned incident will not exist as a repeat occurance.
