Icon6 gsr block

so i picked up a gsr block that had a golden eagle block guard in it. The motor was boosted before and appareantly the guy blew it. The block guard had cracked, so i removed it. I want to re-use the block and want to know Is it safe to use the block? I dont know if the cylinders have warped or not, but wouldnt a simple hone and bore fix this problem? the cylinder walls are still great shape, they have no scars or rust on them what so ever.

are you sure there are no cracks on the inside or outside of the sleeves?
hone it then, it should be fine if no cracks.....how did the guard crack?
if you bore it just get it sleeved (i know..it costs $)

Re sleeve that GSR block.
Block guards only protect the block from becoming non - re sleeve-able.
