Hi my name is Chris and Ive had a b series ram horn manifold for a few years and besides cracking once before its been a great manifold....well recently cracked again and need it fixed because my car is my daily.... Jesse has always been a great guy and never had a problem sticking by the lifetime warranty.....now the problems is I was speaking to Jesse via email and everything was fine.... last email from him (3 weeks ago) is as follows....

Emailed him my number a few times and other such following emails with no reply......now I contacted Mike@afi turbo by simply saying hey hows it going and never got a response

....I call the shop and the number goes right to voice mail and says is full...now the funny thing is im friends with the AFI team on face book and all day updates about their s2000 project are posted....


im NOT here too flame Jesse nor AFI they have helped me alot in the past....this is just a last ditch effort to see if anyone has spoken with them or knows whats going on since i can not get a response....


IF AFI is not willing to fix my manifold I am search of a company who can, I need done soon so I can get my car back on the road.....please personal message me, company's you can possibly fix.....Ive attached pictures where the ram horn is cracked, its simply around the waste gate, just needs to be completely cut out and over sized so it does not crack again.....im trying to get car back on road within two weeks

I highly doubt they are hiding from you. There is a big VW show in Maryland this weekend. I'm not sure if they attend VW shows, but they might, considering they make VR6 parts. I know anyone in the VW scene has been un reachable this whole week.

That is a classic spot for a manifold to crack, it's happened to the best of us.

well I havent got a response from no one......so I guess im looking for a company willing to tackle the challege to fix it...

 

I think Jesse is away right now . . . There should be someone else at the shop though. . .

Just keep calling the shop a few times an hour until someone picks up. Thats what I always do when I need to talk to him. . I know thats not the answer you are trying to hear, sorry.

 

They've been SUPER swamped with the S2000 as they've had a few races recently.

I have no problem honoring the lifetime warranty for you through us if you're in a pinch, feel free to call us at your convenience.

where'd that guy go with the ebay ramhorn? he needs to see this thread. try getting that thing fixed once it breaks.

guys are even stepping up for each other who make stuff HERE. i'm not saying domestic stuff is invincible, even my stuff cracks once in a while, but we fix it.

nice to see everyone backing each other in here for a change.

keep calling. they fixed my manifold 2 weeks ago and got it back to me in a few days. great company to deal with.

 

thank you everyone so much for your help...its been about a month now that its been off the car and ive been so worried that It was not going to get fixed...I am going to pm some of you and hopefully this gets resolved, I will surely post the outcome!

I call them thursday and ordered some parts. They said they would be out of the shop this weekend for a big race.

guys, ive spoke to Jesse, hes been extremely busy.....he is shipping out my new manifold under warranty as soon as he recieves my old one......AFI FTW!!!!!!!!!!!
