how to make a kill switch for your car
cut the power wire going to the resistor box. there is five wires altogether but the one you need will be different than the other four. crimp speaker wire to the two ends and run it to a location you have chosen for the switch. connecto to switcho and away you go. easy.

I have a pretty good idea for a kill switch. I have it in my car and also a bunch of my buddies have it also. Go to the main relay, Find the "switched hot" for the ECU, tap into the wire, run it to a simple 2way switch, then to ground. Every time you turn your engine off, just hit the switch. When a thief turns the ignition to "on", the ECU fuse pops! Even if he finds the switch and toggles it, its too late! The fuse is already popped, the car wont run.

thanks
It's only a good idea if you have a spare fuse on your person at all times. The probability of forgetting to un-ground the kill switch when you go to start the car at one point or another is high, especially if it's your daily. Then if the ECU fuse pops, you're out of a car until you find another fuse.
