Default obd1 engines

ok, so i'm buying a 91 CRX with no engine/tranny

the guy i'm buying it from knows what he's doing and has already converted it to OBD1.

my question is what are the possibilities for an engine with obd1 for this car, and what transmissions? any help or good ideas would be appreciated, thanks

You can run D, B, H, etc. You just need the correct mounts and a cable trans.

The only difference between obd0 and obd1 is the distributor, ECU, o2 sensor, and the wiring.

Example: you can take a b16a2 out of a 99 Si, which is normaly an obd2 motor, put the correct obd1 distributor, ECU, etc and be able to run it without a problem.

(Hope this makes sense because it seems like a cluster to me lol)
