Okay as stated in the title i have searched and not gotten a solid answer so please dont flame im just looking for help to get it fixed quick. Got a 95 GSR out of now where today when cold it started idleing bad and took it for a drive around the neighborhood and it would sputter bad like it was missing. After it warmed up real good it went away, gave it gas and rpm's went up and down no problem. I know this has been a problem for alot of people however on the posts ive searched no one has put up what fixed their problem, so i have no idea what worked. Also no CEL so nothing to go on. Im going to go and check the plugs even though i replaced them a month ago and no problem til now. Im guessing it might be the Fast idle control valve but just a guess since theres no CEL so it might be mechanical vs. electrical. Please post up and help me out.

 

Okay so i fixed it good to go. Guess its a good thing i didnt hold my breath for any replies.

Well thanks, It would have been nice to get the info when i actually needed it. I was under the impression this forum was to get info and share it not flame on someone or just not reply. But whatever better late than never.

 

so what was wrong with your car

 

I bled the coolant lines,cleaned the spark plug tips and also cleaned the fast idle control valve and IACV and its good now. Dont know which fixed it just did it all at once so it wouldnt take to long waiting for the car to cool off. But its good now.
