the Si final drive is shorter which gives you better acceleration in gears 1-3, although the stock ZC (with the longer final drive) has shorter 4 and 5 gears than the Si - with the Si final drive in the ZC transmission, it is geared even shorter because the ZC 2-5 gears are all shorter than the Si 2-5 gears

Yes... and you will hate the freeway in 5th.
Engine revs high are cruising speeds.
If you do the Si FD and ZC gears you should consider keeping the Si 5th.

yes - even with a stock ZC transmission, the rpm in 5th will be higher than the Si

or use the HF 5th which will give you rpm in 5th about the same as a DX transmission

See if you can get the Sedan EX FD.
ZC 1~3 and Si 4~5.... or HF5th since it looks like a good freeway gear.

Personally I like a little power in 5th... HF might be gutless and have you down shifting just to pass people.

PS: the ZC 5th with Si FD puts you at about 4300rpm at 80mph.
