on the hatch, you know the bumper filler piece that goes between the front bumper and the headlights? can an 89 one fit on a 90? according to hondaautomotiveparts.com there are different part numbers for those.

 

the 90 and 89 have slightly different front ends, so if hondaautomotiveparts has different part numbers for them, then they are probably different.

or you could ask trinity nicely to go outside and see if the filler piece from my 89 will fit on her 90.

 

i'm fairly certain that they are different. i thing the ones on 88-89 are a seperate piece, while 90-91 are molded to the front bumper?

 

the 90-91 is still a seperate piece. you might be thinking of the crx where it is molded into the bumper.

I think they might be different, just from my personal wisdom of looking around I noticed that on 88-89 that some of them have black bumpers, while 90-91 all have the same body color bumpers. From that, it seems like there might be a slight difference.

 

The filler pieces are the same , my friend has a 91 hb and i bought his from him and it fit my 89 just fine.
