It takes a while for my car to start. It’s not that old, year 2005. When I turn the key, it will make a clicking noise a few times and lights will flash. It’s only when I keep my key at the start position for a while that it will keep clicking and eventually start.

Any ideas as to why my car is acting out?

 

Is the engine turning over and just not starting or is the engine not even turning over, [starter working]?
