Default shifter bushing question.

i need some new shifter bushings, it feels like mine have been replaced with poop.

I have a b20 swap, so i need b series shifter bushings obviously. i think so. haha. so ive found some for 15 dollars on ebay. called "energy suspension" shifter bushings. then i found some password jdm ones for 40 dollars.

The ebay ones come with 2 pieces and the password jdm ones come with 3.

So whats going on? why is there an extra piece with the password jdm ones?

what do i need? I have no idea whats going on.

sorry for the retarded post.

Well i have no clue about the password jdm ones but I do know I have the prothane shifter stabilizer bushings in my b swapped ef and it feels amazing. It feels like the only place it can go is in gear and it doest vibrate much either.

Prothane shifter bushings FTW! I got them for my civic (not running) and my friend has them in his CRX. VERY solid. worth the 21$

ES bushings is a reputable company and the bushings are great for shifters.

Yeah a donut type one for the transmission stabilizer and the one that has the 2 bolts going through it under the shifter. Make sure you grease up th donut one really well because it takes some persuation to get it in there lol.

Well from all the homework I did on the es vs prothane is that the es bushings last longer but aren't quite as stiff, and the prothanes are stiffer (dont know by how much) but don't last quite as long.

they are VERY stiff compared to ES and OEM. They last the same if maintained. just about every oil change pop it off and throw some of the extra lube they sent (or order more) and they are fine. the CRX has no problems and has been running them for over a year now. no squeaks or anything. Its the users ERROR that makes them not last longer and such.
