Console gear selector light bulb replacement
I need to replace the gear selector light bulb in the center console of a 1999 Accord EX.
I've removed the trim ring to have a look at the bulb. Once I removed the trim ring, there is about a 3/8" gap between the console and the gear selector housing. Not much room to work. And I'm not sure if the bulb is a twist-n-pull.
Has any Honda tech changed one of these? I hope it doesn't involve removing the console.
This would have been a perfect application for fiber optics.
Any information is appreciated.

It is a twist and pull indeed, reach down and remove it.. and just change the bulb. And yeah, it can be a little tricky to get there.
