Icon3 Wider wheels with same tires

Example. Your average family sedan - Accord - Fusion - Malibu - Altima - 6 - etc.

Tires 225/50/17 OEM on 17" wheels.

You find wheels that are both 7.5 and 7.0 wide.

What would be the difference on paper between 17X7 vs. 17X7.5 in your opinion?

You have that choice too in the aftermarket world.

One would be weight. More metal = more weight.

Others??????

widest rim thats within the tires spec. If youre after max grip, then the widest wheel you can fit with the widest, grippiest tire on it that will fit in the well.
