Default No Spark, No Codes???????

Hey i was cruising down the highway when all of a sudden my integra just died, i checked the fuel pump and it was working fine then i checked the spark and it's got none.

It's a jdm 98 integra, the wiring is converted to obd1. It has a ls/vtec and the ditributor is brand new (although i know they can still break). any ideas? there was no warning the car just died and it is not throwing any codes

Did you check it? Sometimes the belt won't snap, but teeth will shred off...

nope, no shops, i heard the internals in the honda distributors are interchangable. any truth to that? also would some of the internals, ie) ignitor, coil, etc, from a 94 accord (4cyl) fit in my vtec distributor?

The coil is very easy to change. Remove ditributor cap, remove rotor, unscrew coil with the 2 screws, unscrew the wires (2) from the coil, and the coil can be slid out.

9/10 it's the coil. A bad coil can test within spec (ohms) and a good coil can test out of spec but still work. My burnt out coil read fine with an DMM.
