are the tools the same for b and d-series?

 

They are different.

 

Different, but I eyeballed mine and it came together pretty good. The tool is only $5 or something, but I didn't even know I needed one just tried putting it back the way it came out and it worked out for me. If I had to do it again I'd get one just in case I mess up, gotta pull everything out again

 

i have done 4 clutches now in both b and d series, i have never had the tool. I have always taken a deep well socket that was close to the right size, and wrapped it in electrical tape to get the right size. then use an extension as the handle. works like a charm for me.

 

Do you need one for a D series? I have one sitting in my garage I'll send you for the cost of shipping. They are included in the Exedy clutch kits
