Default Camber Huge Problem. HELP!!!!

I have a huge problem with my car. When the car is just sitting. my front tires look with the perfect camber but in reality is that is eating away the outrside of both of the fronty tires like crazy. in 3 weeks it ate up i will say 50% of the tire. just yesterday the tire was turning bold on the outside and today i can see the metal and i only drove the car for 200 miles. I dont know what to do

You need an alignment. Your toe is what is killing your tires. Get your toe adjusted or do it yourself and you will see a world of difference. Get a camber kit only and your still going to eat tires.

the answer is both these guys are right yes the camber will fix the problem but camber kits are ussually for cars that ar lowered and cant get a reg allignment but sence your car is eating the outside all you need is an allignement no need to wast the money on a camber kit go to the shop and let someone hook it up for you easy fix

Pretty sure his car is lowered. Wouldn't have camber otherwise, unless it already has a camber kit and is adjusted all the way negative, which I don't know why it would be.

yeah, the car is running on coilovers and stock shocks. (saving up for tokicos). im taking it to the shop to get it aligned. hopefully this will solve the problem. is just that is unusual that the car its eating the outside of the tires instead of the inside like any othe lowered car.

THIS. Toe is your problem, not camber, thus a camber kit will not fix your problem. Get an alignment.

Negative camber causes a bit of inside tire wear. Positive camber causes a bit of outside tire wear. If you're lowered, you do NOT have positive camber unless you have something severely messed up in your suspension, or unless you already have a camber kit that's adjusted all wrong.

However, there's 100% NO WAY that camber will eat through a new tire in a few weeks. I've been running 2 degrees of negative camber for 6 months, and my tires show zero camber wear. Visit the suspension forum... tons of people there are running a little bit of camber with no adverse tire wear worth mentioning. Toe out would cause inside tire wear. Unless I'm completely backwards.

Toe is your problem, not camber, thus a camber kit will not fix your problem. Get an alignment.

EDIT: To add a little bit... Toe IN would cause your outside wear (I believe). That's a condition where the front of your tires point at each other slightly. Sort of like a person who walks pigeon-toed. Therefore, the outside edge of your tires are slightly dragging, causing them to wear out very quickly.

camber doesnt eat your tires that fast, toe is the problem....

also i have never ever seen a lowerd car eat the outside of a tire, only inside.
dont buy a camber kit, the arent neccasary inless you want no camber, get the toe ligned up call it a day

if you have to change the lca bushings you might as well change them all.
