Default My new CRX project

Ok so i bought this 89 SI CRX for $700 out in St Pete. When i bought it the guy said it had a blown head gasket and it wasnt driven around so i shouldnt have to worry about the head being warped or anything. So when i got the car to my house i ripped the head off replaced the head gasket and come to find out the guy was right it didnt have a warped head but it did have a CRACKED head .So the next move was buying a z6 swap from one of my friends that is cammed out and i ripped the crappy a6 out.The car was completely trashed on the inside when i got it.The car came on some ugly *** 17 in rims and was stock height. So i ordered some lowering springs and found someone to buy the tonka toy rims and i put some fresh steelies with eg hubcaps on it (looks pretty fresh).Just threw some HID's on it and now im thinking about swapping out the stock SI 5 speed tranny with a 4 speed that i have just laying around in my shed just to see what it will do.But heres some pics would love to have some input on the new project.Lmk what yall think.

Ok so this was the interior when i got it

And after i did some cleaning

Ok so heres some pics of the stock a6 while doing the head gasket

Now found out its got a cracked head so pullin it out and droppin the z6 in it
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

Ok i know its hideous but heres what it looked like when i got it with the 17's on it
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

Had to get rid of those rims so i put it on some hub's lol
[IMG][/IMG]

Springs came in so about to drop it b4 and after

And hows she sitting now

It looks pretty good on the outside. Much better than I thought, considering those interior pics.

i know right ^. but why exactly would you want to swap out the 5 speed si tranny for a 4 speed? "what it will do" is make it accelerate a lot slower.

I liked the rims that came with it, maybe a little big but still ok lookin. It looked like someone puked on the ceiling or something lol. But it looks pretty good, especially the exterior. Nice grab
