Would you cut a Mugen Twin loop cat back?
The reason I'm asking is because I don't think Mugen actually sells a eg6 twin loop cat back for it. I currently have a ek9 twin loop to put on my 92 civic hatch but it will not fit unless you cut 2 inches down and reweld it. I'm worrying about resale value on the exhaust. Do you think it's a good idea to modify it?
I don't know if the twin loop is a rare item or not. Just seeing what you would do if you're in my shoe. thanks

Yeah dont do it! and one question you plan on reselling it that soon or are you planning on changing it all the time ? i just think its point less theres no such thing as real resale value on used exhaust parts .I know its a twin loop an all but if you ask me id what a new one and not a used one just talking about exhaust here*

if you're that worried about resale value then why do you want to install it? exhaust parts are wear items, they take more abuse than most of the other parts. they're exposed to all the weather, hot and cold temps, and are the first thing to hit if you bottom out.
Why sell yours for less than what a new one costs?, then have to rebuy another exhaust. the difference is going to be greater than amount you'll lose on resale. and it should only cost a few bucks to have someone weld that thing up for you
its just an exhaust, cut the 2inches out of it then reweld it, take it to a professional if you cant weld and you can always resell it as a twin loop that fits an eg. It may lose value to people that have eks, but it will still fit egs. Either way its just exhaust pipe so if you save the piece you cut out you could always weld it back in later.
I swear some of you people should stick to collecting baseball cards instead of car parts

oh guys. Just to clarify something. I don't actually collect these parts because that's the reason why I want to put it on my car. The reason I'm asking is because I don't know if this is a rare item or not (apparently not because you can still buy it new) and I just don't want to ruin something that isn't very common on the market anymore. Would you guys pay the same price if it was cut to fit an 92-95 civic because the original one isn't very common anymore?
Hi guys. I got an update:
I'm trying to install my axle back only today but I measured that the flange on the twin loop is 12cm. My Spoon N1 is only 10cm. Is there an solution to make it fit? I already have a custom midpipe that fits pretty well with the spoon exhaust.

If the welds are done right, and it lines up correctly....IT DOESN'T MATTER!
