no check engine light

Default no check engine light

i bought car bout 2 weeks ago, i just noticed when i turn ignition on there is no Check engine light. I removed the gauge cluster but all I see is 4 bulbs big ones and that's its . on my 96 civic there was like 12 of em for everything. here there is only 3 or 4 big ones. I want replace it. Also my mi-liege counter stopped working both of em. the one u can reset and the main one. they both stopped working 2 days ago HELP please

your in the accord forum bro.....but i would imagtine the buylb for the CEL may be out and the speedo/odo may have a bad board....replace cluster or repair it

yeah i know but there is only 4 big bulbs and I moved them around and they work. all the other lights work on car, like SRS, FUEL/seatbelt and so on

the 4 big bulbs should be general illumination lights...you may have to dig into the cluster further but each warning indicator has its own small bulb( think about it 4 big bulbs and upwards of 8 or more warning indicators that can go on one at a time)......start carefully taking it apart as some of the bulbs may opnly be accessible by taking the actual gauge faces out....to take the actual gauges off you will need to loosen the screws to each one...but make sure you keep them in order as some of the screws are longer and the cluster uses the screws to send power

Does the car start and run? Or, is this simply an illumination problem?
