Default tuner not in area.

So im installing a turbo kit on my 95 GSR with all the extras( injectors fuel pump etc.) I was thinking about running a neptune or S300. My question is can i get a neptune rtp or s300 with a basic map for forced induction loaded already with injector size and everything so it can run safe until i can make the trek to L.A. to a tuner? Theres just not one in the middle of the Mohave and a tow truck to L.A. is just insane. Im not sure if Hondata can load something like that or another tuner i could send it to. I have no idea where my ignition timing or any of that stuff needs to be, this is the first time running one of these and i dont want to blow up my motor on the turbo because of it. If it helps the setup is going to be peakboost t3/t4 kit, 750cc injectors on a stock motor looking to only push 8 psi daily driver. Really new to this and havent seen any other posts on this or anything anyone with info throw it up here i would really appreciate it. Thanks

What you could do is get either the NepTune RTP or Hondata S300. Load a map for stock injectors but just add the boost tables to the rom. Almost every place that you purchase one of these systems from can load a map for you to get you going. That way you just plug the ecu in and you are ready to go.

That way you CAN drive the car to L.A.. You could drive the car across country as long as you stayed out of boost and just kept the stock injectors in there. Just make sure to keep the stock O2 sensor hooked up for the minor adjustments during cruise and light throttle.

And to be on the absolute safe side, you can set a boost cut with either program to say 2-3 psi. That way even if you tried to boost the car, it wouldn't allow you.

Towing the car to a tuner is usually the best idea, however the 2nd option can work also.
(Buy the system from a reputable dealer that can provide a basemap with the system for your setup).

Make sure you use a wideband oxygen sensor gauge....

Yeah i would like to tow it to a tuner but the cost of having it towed that far(200 miles) would leave me pennieless. I was hoping maybe there were safe parameters for ignition, fuel etc. i could set just so it was safe for low low boost. Im not really sure how tables for fuel and timing should be set for it. Im just looking for help and i would like to tow it but thats probably not going to happen so looking to all the tuning gurus on here for a little Q&A and maybe be able to put down a safe base map myself that would allow it to be driven down to a tuner.

You'll need the RTP system to be able to load a basemap that a tuner emails you. Or you can get in touch with the closest dealer on the dealer page to work out another solution.
