Default Buring oil after build

Ok well today i finally finished my car and got it street tuned. I have NA b18b1 with crower 404s valves, retainers springs. When i started it the first time with the stock ecu it was smoking a lot i thought i was running rich. And today we set everything so it wont be running rich and it is still smoking. He told me i am burning oil. How would i find out where it is leaking from doing a comp. test/ a leak down test. Or can it be something else.

i am running a chipped pr4. I bought this head off a local guy he said it was professionally put in with new ferrea valve seals, guides, and keepers. The head is also ported/polished. The head was brand new never ran on after he got everything put on.
