98 GSR Front strut brace won't fit.
Hello just bought 98 GSR on Ebay with the following: a p28 chipped ecu from phearable.net. The car also has the following mods: Greddy Header, Skunk2 catback exhaust, gutted catalytic converter, short ram AEM intake, B&M fuel pressure regulator, lowered on neuspeed springs and a blox intake manifold. I haven't picked car up yet but owner tells me I will get front strut brace off the car cause it won't fit with the stock throttle body and the blox intake. QUESTON What throttle body should I get to allow the stut brace to fit. I am a long time rear wheel drive scca auto x er and road racer. Any advice on what to do to this car for a good SM or street prepared auto x set up would be appreciated. My regular play car is a 81 Mazda RX7 E-production car so I am getting to figure handling and suspension out all over again.
If the intake is actually for a stock GSR, it won't fit because of the shape of the intake arm. The intake could also potentially rub on the hood.
As far as autox, get rid of the lowering springs and put a nice set of coilovers on there and an ITR rear sway bar + brace.

Thanks for the help I've done some more research and find that the throttle cable assembly is the real issue. I can modify and / or make a new bracket to get the stock strut bar back on.
