2 1/4 piping is better on certain setups.. nice to see someong trying it out besides me.

I have a RSR Exmag and It is the quietest exhaust Ive ever heard on a Honda (at idle). And it should beautiful when crossing over into vtec. Search it up on youtube. If I didnt have this I would buy an Apex'i Noir. (I like black for the stock look). They have similar sounds.
I have a G-Power medallion on my EJ1 and it's really quiet. It just sucks that they don't make those anymore. I know the Racing Medallion is notorious for being a screamer and I just don't know if anything else that Tanabe makes are quiet.
I have a Tanabe Super Hyper Medallion from a 95 Integra and its 87 decibles at full throttle under no load on my Stock 95 DX. has a 4 inch tip but one hell of a nice exhaust. my parents never complain about me coming home late because they cant hear it and i have never had someone tell me it sounds like hell, they just say its to quiet.

i have the tanabe medallion on my sol. its pretty quiet the way it comes but i put a silencer in it and all you hear is a rumble until 3 grand and then it goes silent.
they are all good ideas , but im in cali and anything shinny is a reason to get pulled over. so i guess my choices are a oem type r or the apexi noir(its all flat black). any boby have it in there car. Would love to see pictures
i say use that custom piping person to your advantage. magnaflow high flow cat, magnaflow 4" round 18" long muffler as a resonator, and vibrant flat black bringing up the rear. have it and it's really quiet unless you're really on it
there is a company call dai motorsports that makes a flat black muffler. its not big and its quiet. its made so that it can tuck up underneath the bumper cover. i think its called the mini tech muffler
