Well, what's left of a car, anyway.

I ran into this thing on Craigslist. Upon further investigation, I simply can't take on this project but I want to save this thing. Basically, this was once a hell of an Auto-X Escort GT. According to the owner, it had a massively built BP 1.8 engine (same as the 323/Miata), Wilwood 4-piston calipers with 13" rotors, Mazdaspeed coilovers and a fancy-one-off custom built digital cluster.

The guy pulled the motor and the brakes but the roll cage, gauge cluster and other miscellaneous stuff remains. As it sits, the car is free, but must be picked up immediately or it will be crushed. He said he'll let the brakes/engine go if cash is involved. If anyone is interested, shoot him an email at: zapco_936 (a) yaho(0).com. It's not my car and the thing is free anyway. I'm just trying to save it and don't even know the guy. He was going to crush it this weekend but I told him I'd post it on some forums as I was sure someone would want it.
