Default ef9 build thread

wat up guys well this car i got it when i was 16 but i never got to work on it or drive it because parents are strick about the licence thing. now i am cool and driving and have been working on the car ever since. i got the car for 700 dollars on craigslist and it was a good offer for me. well first thing i did was get a skunk2 short shifter. After that i decided to order some amber corners, and paint my hood black.then i started to work on the body and picked up a new passanger door from the junkyard and also two new fenders very clean. then i put a tach in my car but decided to go and change it with an Si cluster instead.A while back a cousin sold me some grs starfish rims that were pretty badly painted. I put some aircraft remover and sanded them down to be ready for paint. Then one day i was cleaning my engine bay and found out i had a zc engine so that was pretty cool. Then i heard a from of mine totaled his ls integra and he was going to get rid of it. the car was not drivable and he did not want it in his drive way so i decided to take the complete swap off his hands. i got the swap for 500 dollars. Now i have installed a nrg set up quick relase for my car and got my hands on some replica recaros from nrg with some fout point harnesses. Now i am waiting for a new suspension and a new painjob. Still need motormounts for the ls and ned to find out about the wiring so i got some research to do.

some comments:
- paint the hood red. looks like a junkyard car with a black hood and nothing else flowing with it (unless that's what you're going for).
- remove the four point harness. it's dangerous. want proper harnesses, get 5 or 6 point and put a roll bar in it, at the very least.
- nice job on the body work
- center armrest ftw.

Good luck with the build! can't wait to see the end result. What else are you planning to do besides lsv and a paintjob?

if your going for a track car keep the outside the way it is, jdm fenders wont make it faster. my hatch looks like it belongs in a junkyard..lol
