intake mani question

i have y7 in my car and i have a y5 bubble style intake mani sitting in my shed. it has egr but will it work better than the stock y7 intake or should i just find a y8 intake

get a y8 intake mani, they supposedly flow the best, but the y8's have the worst flowing cylinder heads lol doesn't make sense
