Default body kit or stock with new paint?

i have a red crx si that im redoing. im not sure if i should keep the stock bumpers and sides or do a body kit. the car will get repainted no mater what(if body kit is done it will get painted with the car).
im getting tired of the back pannels on the side of the door but i like the way some body kits look. if any one has some pictures of a crx with a body kit please let me see them and not which kit you have.
i really like the boxer rear bumper, i like that style.

please no body kit. Unless its a LEGIT mugen or something. But body kits have a tendency to ruin cars.

LOL then what in the hell are you talking about a body kit for? That is a standard Wings West body kit for the 88-91 Honda. Either way body kits are rice and they serve no purpose and almost 100% of the time they do not look good on Hondas. Either way where is the TECH in this thread?

If you get a body kit make sure that its the one that makes you happy. who gives a mierda what others think since your the one who will be driving the car anyways.

I like the stock body lines but thats me. But if your game is a body kit go for a mugen kit or wings west. To me they are the only ones even to consider.

i vote body kit...your car is an extension of your personality, if you want your car to look like everyone elses so that you'll be socially accepted, then go ahead. only reason i don't have one on my car is b/c i don't have the money to buy it and get it painted. I personally could care less about what others think of my car.

Yeah but when you stand out you get noticed... Typically the only people who pay attention to your car when it stands out are thieves and devilish children who want to molest it.

I personally don't like having my stuff molested; if that's your thing (to be molested) then go for it.

Almost everyone on here is going to tell you stock or a JDM conversion, because that's what's popular right now. I'm sure most of them, if they were old enough to drive and were in to Hondas rocked a Buddy Club or Invader kit 10 years ago.
IMO I like a clean look, whether it's stock with lips or a 6-piece Mugen style. (with door caps) It's your car though, so whatever you think looks good to you.

IMO all body kits look disgusting even mugen ones, there always falling half off, falling apart, not painted, and use that god awful chicken wire **** for the grill. id say go stock with a fresh paint job and get a nice lip and your set.

I think I'll keep the current body. I'm getting turned away by all the body kits I've seen on the crx. I'm loving the mud flaps, and one know where I can get a set? I only find rear ones on eBay. Also is there a lip kit for the crx? That may look nice??

I left my car stock and painted it. You can do things to make it not look so stock. I had the mirrors, entire front and rear bumper, and the piece under the door painted to match the car. It looks alot cleaner that way IMO. I personaly hate body kits, the only exterior mod I done was a ZC hood mainly for weight reduction.
