Default Melted aftermarket exhaust gaskets???

Well I was just wondering if everyone else on here with an aftermarket exhaust has melted through the flat gaskets that come with it? After removing my N1, the gaskets were melted to the b-pipe, I just want to know if this is normal because I would not like to see this happen to my T1R exhaust. Thanks in advance. and if there is a remedy, what is it??
