90 ex sedan. b16a swap. ran fine for since ~Jan.

just recently, the car started to not turn on, it would crank over and over and over but doesnt start. if you let it sit for a while it would starts up fine.

this problem occurs sometimes.

would a main relay play a role in this?

starter was replaced like last month with a perfectly working one.

Mine does the same thing sometimes, btw. I suspect it might be my fuel pump, but no way to really know without changing it out.

yes it does when you turn the key to the on position b ut dont start it see if you can feel the relay kick if iot doesnt then its the relay if it does probably something else

 

sounds like the relay to me. if you dont hear the fuel pump prime then it is your relay

While youre working on it, relocate it and wire up a kill switch. No main relay, no start.
