Default My 1991 Dx Build Thread

Said id start one of these now,since i can.
Bought my civic in Early Febuary due to someone crashing into my previous car and making S**t of it.
Make: Honda
Model: Civic E-EF1 (facelift Model)
Milage: 82,000km Approx.
Colour: White
As it was in Febuary:



Was more or less standard

Picked This Up For Free:
5Zigen Miracle Fireball :D

Then after months of trying to track one of these
I finally got one cheap and handy

Found a set of these in pritty bad nick..
'Work Rsb'
So i gave €100 for them
Currently im refurbing and spraying these..

Got these for free too




Engine bay was clean but the engine looked aged..
So i sprayed up the rocker cover..
And degreased the whole bay

Went At Some Wiring Today:
*Cd Player Was Hardwired and was staying on when the keys
were taken out (so solving that)
*Pushstart button was the same..
Would swing (but wouldn't start) when keys were out..
(Will only turn now if the ignition lights
are on)
*Wiring the sensors for the Gauges

Went At Cleaning The Engine Bay Today:

mmmmmmmmmm carbs ftw!!! lol i had that can on a parts car that i bought, sounded loud but mean for a single slam. no rasp but nice. are we talkin b18c gsr or b18c-R?

Looks good man. Love the SiR rear lip. The car has come a long way in a short amount of time. It's cool to see that there are thriving import scenes overseas.

Wow havent updated here in a while

Swapped the works for a set of rays engineering group nr-s


Right the garage started nice and clean this week:

Then after a bit of shopping... it ended up like this:

Brought the car into the garage and went at this


Going for the sleeper look .. Steelies 8)

Rear Drilled & Grooved Discs + Steelies = WIN lol

UPDATE:
Test Fitted The Cage Today:
Because its a rally cage its not made to fit interior...which is a problem
so ill be cutting the rear legs to sit onto the wheel wells!!

So was loading the car on the trailer..
And heard a bang..
Couldnt figure it out for a while..

Then i looked closely in the car and noticed something was missing..
Looked under the car to find this ..



Anyway
Pulled off the wings,bonnet and front filler bar..
Must take out the rear subframe to change for the VT one



Today, I got out the petrol tank,lines and handbrake cables

And cleaned behind the wings as i never had arch plastics
F**king tar :facepalm:

Well took the head off this morning and doesnt look too good

My original intension was to rebuild the head and that be it..
But a change of plan for the better so here are the updates
