Default OEM Foglights have me stumped

So I had some trouble last week getting my new oem fogs to turn on. I waited a week to make sure I had enough time to make sure everything was right. This morning I go outside and took some of the feedback regarding where I had them grounded to. Move its location and Walaaaa!!! Fogs work, fantastic.

I put my dash back together all my screws in place, hit the switch and nothing at all. Ive spent the last 2 hours moving the grounds both inside and outside the car from their locations, changing the bolt, and nothing. They wont turn on

I have my HIDs grounded on the radiator support and my fogs grounded on the cable that runs from the head to the radiator support. HIDs work fine but I dont know if this could possibly be drawing to much ground having them both on the radiator support if that even makes sense.

I don't know what to do Im gonna watch some football and get back outside later, if anyone can give me some input id appreciate it.

What bothers me is that they were working fine and then nothing.

I checked the fuse and that was ok.

There's never "too much ground"

Test power at fog lights if none then you have a problem in your relay or fuse. Possibly in your source of power

agreed check power at foglight harness if nothing check each wire individually. if still nothing check if relay is turning on. if nothing stll then check switch. and just work your way down the line. don't forget to check the bulbs. I have seen that before.

how can I test the relay?

The switch inside the car does light green so I assume thats not the problem. If I go down the harness the fuse is fine, how do I know if the relay is good or bad?

Just go to Pepboys and purchase the Pilot 12v Harness kit, its only 20 bucks. Comes with the relay, fuse, and switch. Purchased and installed mine today, and now I finally get to use my foglights again!

Hmm, maybe you blew a fuse. I would check the fuse again and then check the relay. If your fog lights came on...it means you connected it properly at least... something just went bad between having your fog lights on and putting the dash back on. I highly doubt it's the ground, if it's touching metal, it's fine.

Ive done 5 fog light installs and I swear by that harness. Its really one of the best out there, plus you can connect it to your corner lights so your fogs turn on with your parking lights.
