Default BloxC cmas dyno numbers 11.5 lsvtec

this was done on a dynoJet at Blue Cats. the tuner said it reads pretty low like a mustang dyno. going to go to another dynojet to see low these numbers are.

poop just notice i misspelled cams on the title

setup is

Those numbers look pretty accurate to me for what you have. It's nice to see a graph posted in SAE numbers and a 5 smoothing for once. I usually like to start my pulls at lower RPM, like 2000-2500, to get a good look at the full curve, looks like you started yours around 4600? What's your VTEC set at? looks about 6200? Were your cam gears tuned?

yea 6200, he said any lower it made a huge power dip. cam gears are at 0,1.8 but was not played with on the dyno since time was limited.

kind of disappointed i didnt get peak tq with the cutout open but did gain like 10hp

yea not sure why he started so high. just his way of doing things

i was hoping to get more tq then that. seems pretty low to me imo. mar778c made like 220hp/148 tq but on a dynapack.
also at evans this motor made 192/148tq with ctr cams. i guess dynapack just reads that high

I suspect you are correct that the dyno indicates a little low. Also, I have vtec set at 6K. I would bet you could set yours there also. Your header is holding you back.

Overall, this is very nice job.

Looks like timing could have been played with a little bit more. The torque drops right before vtec.

You should have marc build you a header. He knows a lil something.

i tuned this car, timing was def adjusted enough, i left it where it wanted to be, at right about 22* total timing... seemed kind of low, but thats where it wanted to be. on stock head ports with the header he has, it seemed pretty much dead on...

the low cam timing wasnt really played with much, i think i adjusted it maybe 1-2* during the whole tuning session, but it wasnt really making gains honestly...

the first few pulls i started lower but after i had already tuned it, there really wasnt any need to start that low anymore, i was tuning for power, the car had already been street tuned, and timing out of vtec was perfect...

true. Video sounds sweet, seems to pull pretty good for what you got man. The cut-out is awesome. electric or manual?

its a sweet homemade deal, using a honda throttlebody!

works awesome!

i figure for the lack of porting, and the header he has, thats a pretty good number, its hard to get on a low reading dyno and even come close to some evans tuning numbers lol

Looks good I put down 200/130 on a dynojet with my type C's w/JDM 4-1. Going to try and get it running again with a 1st gen hytech and see what it can put down.
